Last Updated: August 2026
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the PagiQ mobile application, website, and PDF software solutions (the "Services") operated by PagiQ ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access or use the Services.

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and authorized devices.
- You may not use the Services to process, store, or transmit any material that is illegal, defamatory, infringes on third-party intellectual property, or contains malicious payloads.
2. AI Features and Limitations
Our AI Assistant, document summarizing, OCR text extraction, and translation tools are provided "as is" and rely on machine learning algorithms.
- Accuracy Disclaimer: While we aim for maximum precision, AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying critical document content.
- No Professional Advice: AI outputs do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or tax advice.
- Fair Usage Policy: Usage of AI features may be subject to rate limits to ensure consistent availability for all users.
3. Intellectual Property
The Services and their original software, layout, design, trademarks, and feature set (excluding User Content) are and will remain the exclusive property of PagiQ and its licensors.
4. User Content & Local Database Storage
You retain 100% ownership and copyright over all documents, files, signatures, and images processed or stored with PagiQ ("User Content"). We do not claim any proprietary rights over your documents.
Local documents and metadata catalog entries are stored securely on your device in an isolated, ACID-compliant local database (SQLite). Files processed offline remain strictly on your local device.
5. Cloud Sync, Google Drive & Google API Limited Use Policy
When you enable Google Drive cloud backup (manually or via Auto-Backup settings), documents are transferred directly to your personal Google Drive account under a dedicated PagiQ Documents folder using restricted https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope.
PagiQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google API user data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used to train machine learning models.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PagiQ, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your access to or inability to use the Services, or any accidental data loss. We strongly recommend keeping regular backups of critical documents.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable consumer protection and jurisdiction laws. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiations.
